Children are eligible to start with us the September after they turn 3.
Admission criteria for nursery are:
- Children in care/children with educational needs
- Siblings
- Staff children
- Distance
We accept the 30 hours funding. It is vital that you generate and renew your code in time for each term. To qualify for September, you will need to have applied for a code between 15th June and 31st August to qualify. If you are not in receipt of 30 hours funding or miss the qualifying date, the top up fee will be £67.50 per week. To find out if you qualify visit www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare
We have 4 family groups in nursery, Kingfishers, Puffins, Owls and Robins with each group having 13 children. The children will have two focused activities a day with their family group, they will also be able to free flow throughout the nursery and outdoor area to access activities of their own choosing.
All of our nursery children are encouraged to have a hot school meal with us at a cost of £2.70 a day. Meals are booked and paid for 10 days in advance on our school gateway system.
We are now taking applications for September 2026, the closing date for applications is 23rd March 2026. Places will be offered via e-mail on Thursday 16th April to start in September 2026.
